Frustration in tough situations

Lately my dad switched from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5s, he gave me his iPhone 4 for me to transfer all his information from one cell phone to another. His home button is broken and so it just made it so much harder to deal with. I started to realize a little pattern I go through when dealing with frustration specifically in situations with a product. I go online and search all possible methods of resolving the issue, ask around to see if anyone is able to help, then try but if I lose interest there is no turning back. I plan to change that in the year of 2014 to deal with many more things even when my genuine interest has vanished.
